Use Limitations
Please refrain from applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following circumstances:
Not intended for structural applications.
Avoid use on surfaces susceptible to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Not suitable for unventilated spaces or surfaces in direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces with temperatures below 4ºC or above 45ºC.
Unsuitable for prolonged immersion in water, constantly moist settings, and on frost or wet surfaces.
Avoid contact with materials containing copper or copper alloys, or painted surfaces that may crack or peel.
Refrain from using on surfaces including lime powder, concrete, or sanded finishes.
Before application, consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct mandatory compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and free from loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application begins.
Apply the sealant smoothly to the desired area using a caulking gun, making sure to trim it before it fully cures. Avoid re-touching the trimmed sections to maintain its structural integrity and aesthetic charm.
