Use Limitations
To maintain peak performance, avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
Not designed for structural applications.
Avoid usage on surfaces known for oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber to prevent compromising the sealant's effectiveness.
Not recommended for use in unventilated spaces or on surfaces that come into direct contact with food or water.
Refrain from applying on surfaces where temperatures are outside the range of 4ºC to 45ºC to prevent adverse effects.
Inappropriate for prolonged water immersion, environments with continuous moisture, or frosty and wet surfaces, as these conditions may affect the sealant's performance.
Avoid use with materials containing copper or copper alloys, or on painted surfaces that may crack or peel.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces to ensure optimal results.
Prior to use, consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct essential compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure top-tier performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and devoid of loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application to secure optimal adhesion.
