Use Limitations
Avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following unfavorable conditions:
Not designed for structural applications.
Avoid usage on surfaces that are susceptible to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Unsuitable for unventilated spaces or surfaces in direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces where temperatures fall below 4ºC or exceed 45ºC.
Not recommended for long-term water immersion, persistently moist environments, or on frost or wet surfaces.
Avoid interaction with materials containing copper, copper alloys, or painted surfaces that might crack or peel.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Before use, consult the company's technical documentation. Mandatory compatibility and bonding tests should be conducted on construction materials to ensure superior performance.
Processing
Ensure that the substrate is spotless, dry, and devoid of any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, or contaminants before application.
Using a caulking gun, apply the sealant smoothly to the designated area, trimming it before complete curing. Avoid any further contact with trimmed sections to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
