RT-8500 STRUCTURAL SILICONE SEALANT FOR CURTAIN WALL
Overview
RT-8500 is a ready to use, one component, neutral fast curing silicone sealant for structural applications. It cures at room temperature by the action with atmosphere moisture to become a permanently flexible silicone sealant. It has good adhesion with wide range of surfaces without the need of priming and professional quality.
PRODUCT FEATURES
· Single Component,neutral curing,high adhesion,medium and high modulus,with strong displacement capacity;
· It can obtain excellent bonding and sealing performance without primer with most building materials,and has good extensibility,water tightness and other functions;
· After curing,the product forms a cold resistant,heat-resistant and corrosion-free elastomer,which has excellent weather resistance,aging resistance,ultraviolet resistance,ozone resistance and high and low temperature resistance,and has no pollution to the environment;
· It has good compatibility with other silicone adhesives of Runtai.
APPLICATION AREA
· Structural bonding,assembly and sealing of glass curtain wall,stone(marble,granite) curtain wall,aluminum curtain wall and metal structure engineering;
· It is applicable to the staggered connection or butt joint between glasses,the second bonding and sealing of lighting roof and hollow glass;
· Sealing and bonding in high-rise buildings and industrial applications;
· It is applicable to curtain wall design of semi concealed frame or fully concealed frame projects and other types of building and industrial sealing.
