Use Limitations
Avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
Not recommended for structural use.
Avoid application on surfaces prone to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Unsuitable for unventilated spaces or surfaces directly in contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces with temperatures below 4ºC or exceeding 45ºC.
Inappropriate for long-term water immersion, persistently moist environments, and frost or wet surfaces.
Avoid contact with materials containing copper or copper alloys or painted surfaces that might crack or strip.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Before use, consult the company's technical documentation. Mandatory compatibility and bonding tests must precede application on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is immaculate, dry, and free from any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application.
Using a caulking gun, apply the sealant smoothly to the designated area, ensuring to trim it before it cures completely. Avoid touching the trimmed sections again to maintain its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
