Main Uses
1. Ideal for the assembly and sealing of kitchenware and sanitary items, providing excellent waterproofing and mildew resistance.
2. Perfect for the secure assembly and sealing of window and door glazing.
3. Versatile in application for sealing joints in glass, marble, and aluminum plates, among other materials.
Instructions for Use
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning and drying the substrate surface to ensure optimal adhesion.
2.Carefully cut the nozzle, then use a glue gun to apply the sealant, ensuring it evenly fills the joint from both sides.
Usage Limitations
RT-678 Silicone Sealant is not recommended for use in the following scenarios:
a. In areas where oils, plasticizers, solvents, or uncured/sulfurized rubber may be present.
b. In unventilated spaces or on surfaces that come into direct contact with food or water.
c. When surface temperatures fall below 4 °C or exceed 40 °C.
d. On materials containing copper or copper alloys, or painted surfaces prone to cracking or peeling.
e. On surfaces consisting of lime powder, concrete, or sand grains, where adhesion is compromised.
f. For structural assembly purposes, where additional strength is necessary.
Please consult our technical files prior to application. Ensure to conduct compatibility and bonding tests for construction materials. Our warranty is limited to product replacement or refund, excluding joint liability.
Safety Guidelines
1. During curing, volatile compounds are released; prolonged exposure to high concentrations can be harmful. Always ensure good ventilation in work areas.
2. Avoid prolonged skin contact with uncured silicone. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if necessary.
3. Once cured, the silicone sealant is stable, non-toxic, and safe for skin contact.
4. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
5. Keep out of reach of children. Ensure that children do not handle uncured sealant.
Storage Recommendations
Store in a dry place at temperatures below 27 °C. The product maintains its integrity for 12 months from the date of production.
