Use Limitations
To ensure peak performance, avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under these conditions:
Not designed for structural applications.
Steer clear of use on surfaces known for oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Not advised for unventilated areas or surfaces in direct contact with food or water.
Refrain from applying on surfaces where the temperature falls below 4ºC or exceeds 45ºC.
Inappropriate for prolonged water immersion, areas with persistent moisture, or frosty and wet surfaces.
Avoid usage with materials containing copper or copper alloys, or on painted surfaces susceptible to cracking or peeling.
Do not use on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Before application, consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct essential compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and devoid of any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application to secure optimal adhesion.
