RUNTAI ADVANCED SILICONE GLASS SEALANT

Overview
 

RT-668 is a easy to use, one component acetic silicone sealant.
It cures at room temperature quickly by the action with atmosphere moisture to become a permanently flexible and durable sealing material.
Its technological properties enable RT-668 to have a high
extrusion rate, and to be used for vertical joints and bottom seals.
RT-668 exhibits superior weather resistance, UV radiation,rain, snow and other characteristics in the temperature range from -30ºCto+120ºC.

Storage

-Storage period is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored at dry and airy, below 27ºC conditions.

Processing
-The substrate to be in contact with the sealant must be clean, dry and free of all loose materials, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and
other contaminants. Extrude the sealant with caulking gun to the working area and trim it before sealant cured. Do not touch the
trimmed area again o avoid damage or
aesthetic appearance.

Use Limitations

RT-668 silicone sealant should not be applied in the following conditions:
-To all surfaces that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, and some uncured or sulfurized rubber.
-To all surfaces which could be reacted with acetic acid.
-To the unventilated space or the surface which can touch the food or water directly.
-When the surface's temperature is below 4ºC or above40ºC .
-To materials contained copper or copper alloy, painted surface, which may cause paint cracking or paint stripping.
-To the surfaces with lime power, concrete or sand again.
-For structural use or aquarium.
