Product Description

RT-1018 Sealant for Solar Modules

One component RTV silicone rubber, deoxidized, minimal odor, no solvents. Effective sealing, strong adhesion to aluminum, glass, TPT/TPE backing material, junction box plastic PPO/PA. Innovative rheological system design guarantees high-quality construction and resistance to deformation. Successfully passed UL safety certification test and complies with RoHS & REACH regulations. 
Outstanding UV and weather resistance; exceptional performance in insulation, thermal cycling, wet-heat, wet -freeze conditions.

Typical Uses

This street light features high brightness, energy saving, environmental protection, and easy installation. It has a waterproof rating of IP67 and has passed CE certification. It is suitable for schools, parks, roadsides, factories, squares, etc. It has a warranty period of 3 years. Moreover, we can provide various styles to meet your needs.

Method of use

a)  For optimal sealing, ensure that the surfaces to be sealed and bonded are clean and dry. Remove any rust, dust, or oil present.
b) Apply the sealant in a smooth, continuous line on the sealing surface. 
c) Allow the glued parts to cure in the open air. Within 24 hours, at room temperature and 55% relative humidity, a skin will form on the surface and curing will begin internally. The curing depth will start at 2-4mm and increase gradually over time. After 7 days, the curing depth will reach 6mm. For depths greater than 6mm, use our two- component products. 
d) Once the glue has been applied and the assembly closed, use a utility knife to remove any excess glue that has been squeezed out all at once. 
e) Always refer to the unit's operating instructions when applying glue to ensure proper application.

Storage and Shelf Life

After opening the product, it is recommended to use it promptly and securely close the cap and seal the nozzle to prevent drying out. If there is any dried glue at the seal, it can be easily removed without impacting its effectiveness. 
During storage, some crust may form at the tube opening, but this can be removed before using the product without any negative effects. 
The best way to store the product is in its original packaging in a cool, dry place with a temperature range of 8 ℃ to 28 ℃, with the ideal storage temperature being halfway within this range. 
The product can be stored for up to 12 months under these conditions.

Warning

a) Proper air circulation is important when using adhesive. 
b) Store adhesives in airtight containers. Use mixed rubber promptly to prevent unnecessary disposal. 
c) In case of eye contact, rinse with water and seek medical help. 
d) Keep out of reach of children.
