Use Limitations
Please avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
Not recommended for structural use, to ensure optimal safety and performance.
Avoid application on surfaces prone to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber to maintain integrity.
Inappropriate for unventilated spaces or surfaces directly contacting food or water to ensure safety compliance.
Do not apply on surfaces with temperatures below 4ºC or exceeding 45ºC to guarantee optimal curing and performance.
Unsuitable for long-term water immersion, persistently moist environments, and frost or wet surfaces to prevent degradation.
Avoid contact with materials containing copper or copper alloys or painted surfaces that might crack or strip, ensuring a clean finish.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces to prevent potential bonding issues.
Prior to use, please consult the company's technical documentation. Mandatory compatibility and bonding tests should precede application on construction materials to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is immaculate, dry, and free from any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application to guarantee a smooth finish.
Using a caulking gun, carefully apply the sealant smoothly to the targeted area, ensuring to trim it before it completely cures. Avoid touching the trimmed sections again to preserve its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
