Use Limitations
Please refrain from applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
It is not intended for structural use.
Avoid application on surfaces susceptible to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Unsuitable for unventilated spaces or surfaces that have direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces where temperatures fall below 4ºC or rise above 45ºC.
Avoid use in situations involving long-term water immersion, persistently moist environments, or frost and wet surfaces.
Steer clear of contact with materials containing copper or copper alloys, or painted surfaces that could crack or peel.
Do not use on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Before proceeding, consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct mandatory compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and free from loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application.
With a caulking gun in hand, apply the sealant smoothly to the intended area, trimming it before it fully cures. Refrain from touching the trimmed sections again to maintain its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
