Product Description

RUNTAI  NEUTRAL SILICONE SEALANT 

Overview
 

RT-193 is a ready to use, one component, neutral silicone sealant for industrial and glazing applications. It cures at room
temperature by the action with atmosphere moisture to become a permanently flexible silicone sealant. It has good adhesion with wide range of surfaces without the need of priming and professional quality.

Application

Application Restrictions

RT193 silicone sealant should not be applied in the following conditions:
-To structural use.
-To all surfaces that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, and some uncured or sulfurized rubber.
-To the unventilated space or the surface which can touch the food or water directly.
-When the surface's temperature is below 4ºC or above 45ºC .
-To the circumstances as immersed in water for a long time, moist all the year, as well as frost or wet surfaces.
-To materials contained copper or copper alloy, painted surface, which may cause paint cracking or paint stripping.
-To the surfaces with lime power, concrete or sand again.
Please read company's technical files before application. Compatibleness test and bonding test must be done for construction
materials before application.

Storage

Storage period is 12 month from the date of manufacture when stored at dry and airy, below 27ºC conditions.

Safety Notes

During curing VOC is released. These vapors should not be inhaled for long periods or in high concentration. Hence, good
ventilation of the work place is necessary. Should uncured silicone rubber come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes, the
affected area must be rinsed thoroughly with water as irritation will otherwise be caused. Cured silicone rubber, however, can be
handled without any risk to health.
