Use Limitations
To ensure peak performance, avoid using RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
Not apt for structural applications.
Avoid surfaces characterized by oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Not recommended for enclosed spaces or surfaces in direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces where the temperature is below 4ºC or exceeds 45ºC.
Not suitable for prolonged water immersion, environments with persistent moisture, or frosty and damp surfaces.
Avoid using on materials containing copper or copper alloys, or on painted surfaces susceptible to cracking or peeling.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Prior to application, please consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct essential compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and free from any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants to secure optimal adhesion.
Utilize a caulking gun to smoothly apply the sealant over the targeted area, trimming before full cure to preserve structural integrity and aesthetic elegance. Avoid touching trimmed sections to retain its immaculate appearance.
