Instructions of Use
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning and drying the substrate's surface to ensure optimal adhesion.
2.Skillfully cut the nozzle and apply pressure using a glue gun. Evenly distribute the adhesive across both sides, ensuring the joint is filled completely for maximum efficacy.
Use Limitations
The RT-678 Silicone Sealant is best avoided under specific conditions:
a. Avoid application on surfaces that exude oils, plasticizers, solvents, or on uncured or sulfurized rubber, as these can compromise adhesion.
b. Refrain from using in unventilated areas or on surfaces that come into direct contact with food or water to ensure safety compliance.
c. Do not apply if the surface temperature falls below 4 °C or exceeds 40 °C, as these conditions may affect curing efficiency.
d. Application on copper, copper alloys, or painted surfaces is discouraged to prevent potential reactions like paint cracking or peeling.
e. Avoid surfaces containing lime powder, concrete, or sand grains to maintain seal integrity.
f. Not intended for structural assembly purposes where extreme bonding strength is required.
Ensure thorough understanding of technical guidelines by reviewing company documentation prior to application. Conduct compatibility and bonding tests with construction materials. Our warranty is limited to the price amount or product replacement, excluding joint liability.
Safety
1. During curing, volatile compounds are released, which can be harmful upon prolonged inhalation. Maintain adequate ventilation to sustain a healthy environment.
2. Avoid prolonged contact with uncured silicone on skin. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a physician if necessary.
3. Once cured, the silicone sealant is innocuous and poses no threat to skin contact.
4. In the event of ingestion, immediate medical attention is advised.
5. Keep curing silicone away from children and store out of their reach to prevent accidental contact.
Storage Period
Store in a dry environment below 27 °C. The product's shelf life extends 12 months from the production date, ensuring peak performance.
