Use Limitations
Avoid using RT192 silicone sealant in the following conditions:
Not designed for structural applications.
Refrain from applying on surfaces exposed to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber.
Not suitable for unventilated environments or surfaces that directly contact food or water.
Avoid applying on surfaces with temperatures below 4ºC or above 45ºC.
Not recommended for long-term water immersion, constantly moist environments, or frost or wet surfaces.
Avoid contact with materials containing copper or copper alloys, as well as painted surfaces that might crack or peel.
Do not use on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Prioritize consulting the company's technical documentation before use. Essential compatibleness and bonding tests should precede application on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is pristine, dry, and free from loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants before application.
Using a caulking gun, apply the sealant smoothly to the targeted area, carefully trimming it before complete curing. Avoid retouching the trimmed sections to maintain its structural integrity and aesthetic charm.
