Use Limitations
Please abstain from using RT192 silicone sealant under the following conditions:
Not recommended for structural applications.
Avoid applying on surfaces prone to oil, plasticizer, solvent bleeding, or uncured/sulfurized rubber, as these can impede performance.
Inadvisable for use in non-ventilated spaces or on surfaces that come into direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply to surfaces where temperatures dip below 4ºC or soar above 45ºC.
Unsuitable for long-term immersion in water, persistently moist environments, and surfaces subjected to frost or wet conditions.
Avoid contact with copper-containing materials or painted surfaces susceptible to cracking or stripping.
Do not deploy on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Before proceeding, consult the comprehensive technical documentation provided by the company. Essential compatibility and bonding tests should precede any application on construction materials to assure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure that the substrate is pristine, dry, and thoroughly cleared of any loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants prior to application.
Employ a caulking gun to apply the sealant smoothly over the target area, taking care to trim it before it cures fully. Avoid touching the trimmed sections again to maintain its structural soundness and visual allure.
