Use Limitations
Please avoid applying RT192 silicone sealant under the following circumstances:
Not designed for structural applications.
Avoid use on surfaces prone to oil, plasticizer, or solvent bleeding, as well as uncured or sulfurized rubber.
Not suitable for unventilated spaces or surfaces in direct contact with food or water.
Do not apply on surfaces when temperatures are below 4ºC or above 45ºC.
Not appropriate for prolonged water immersion, environments with persistent moisture, or frosty and wet surfaces.
Avoid using on materials containing copper or copper alloys, or on painted surfaces susceptible to cracking or stripping.
Refrain from using on lime powder, concrete, or sanded surfaces.
Prior to use, please consult the company's technical documentation. Conduct essential compatibility and bonding tests on construction materials to ensure optimal performance.
Processing
Ensure the substrate is impeccably clean, dry, and free of loose particles, dust, dirt, rust, oil, and contaminants before application.
With a caulking gun, apply the sealant smoothly over the targeted area. Trim before complete cure to retain structural integrity and aesthetic charm. Avoid touching trimmed sections to maintain its flawless appearance.
